Baby Birds

Hello Everyone, I noticed last night that the bird nest of Twitter's was knocked over. The birds sadly were not still in the nest and it is a mystery because we don't know where they are. I know it is sad but at least we were able to see them while they were here. You can still play our Trivia Games every week. Also, Twitter is still here so we will entertain you with news about her still. If next year or sometime later there is another nest we will use the same blog to write about what happens to them. 4/5/2020 Update on Twitter's nest

Twitter is apparently seeming like he or she is laying his or her eggs! We think it's that it is a he. I got a picture this morning of Twitter in his or her nest! You can see it below. Also I got a video! He is very active during the day and doesn't get scared easily so we can often take pictures now. Every time he comes back after he flys away he has a twig or something in his beak and makes good use of it in his nest. Mom had a great idea of why there was a big mess on the ground. She thought it was because the baby birds might fall out of the high nest and then they could fall right on to the soft one below. He often looks as if he is shivering. He has a long orange and white beak too! So that's all for now but tune in again soon to see more great bird news and stories/articles!😀😁PS VIDEOS AND PICS CAN BE FOUND AND PLAYED BELOW!

What is a Robin exactly?

Bird Facts with Brayden A n American Robin is a bird that is 10 inches in length according to National Geographic Kids. They are most active in the daytime and are one of the first birds to lay eggs in the springtime! The adult robins also have to watch out for animals that will eat them such as snakes and hawks!😮 They mainly live in North America but live in some parts of Central America. This bird is very special because it is the state bird of 3 states! Connecticut, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Robins have a yellow beak and brown backs. Most females and males may look alike but don't get fooled the male actually has slightly brighter colors then the female. They eat earthworms, berries, and insects such as grasshoppers.
